'let the clothes I made tell the story of the life I lived,
let them be my eulogy.'
Based in Ōtautahi, Eulogy grounds itself in a monastic world of genderless and atypical tailoring. The label exists as an embrace of the fallible narrator, offering reverence and form to introspective tensions. Constructed, dyed, and finished by one pair of hands, the garments of Eulogy trace an intimate vitalism between maker and wearer, the clothes and those they clothe. In the moments forgotten, within these little lives, Eulogy celebrates the poetics in a life well-lived.
A eulogy written in real time, line by line.
Eulogy began in 2024 with a fragrance, a scent to immortalise the extreme anxiety and uncertainty surrounding the beginning of something new. 'Worrywart', in collaboration with Nathan Taare (Of.Body), was a huge success and provided the momentum to continue slowly building the foundation for a clothing label.
In 2026, after many years of commissions and small capsule releases, Eulogy finally entered its next chapter with the release of 'Chapter III: Remise en etat'. Expanding its offering into ready-to-wear, establishing core styles, such as the Classic and Burry Pleated Trouser, and committing to more regular programming from the business.
